Experiences under the northern star

Two enthusiastic sportsmen Juha Honkaniemi and Mikko Alhainen founded Urjala Whitetail Woods Oy in May 2009. The company is situated in municipality of Urjala in the Pirkanmaa region in Southern Finland.

We want to offer high quality hunting and fishing adventures and unforgettable memories in the beautiful Finnish countryside.

Our main hunts include whitetail deer and small game hunting as well as bow fishing adventures.

With us hunter can experience the thrill of hunting the whitetail deer with dash hounds. We also offer other ways of deer hunting such as hunting from ladder stand, calling the rutting bucks and stalking.

We also offer activities for the hunter's family.

Especially children will enjoy an exciting day of traditional angling, or cooking a sausage on a open fire in the middle of the Finnish forest.

There are several attractive cultural sites situated in and around Urjala. In Urjala you will find Nuutajärvi glass village, Väinö Linna route (famous Finnish writer) and beautiful recently restored wooden church of Urjala.

The largest mall of Nordic countries is situated only 45 minutes from Urjala. Great place for a day of shopping!
